Both medications are FDA-approved and clinically proven to support significant weight loss when combined with lifestyle changes like a healthy diet and regular exercise. They work by targeting hunger signals in the brain, helping you feel fuller for longer and reducing the urge to overeat. GuysMeds connects patients with compounded medications created in licensed 503(a) and 503(b) facilities regulated by State Boards of Pharmacy. Unlike FDA-approved drugs, compounded medications are not subject to FDA pre-market review or approval, which means their effectiveness, safety, and side effects may vary from brand-name medications.

It's important to note that GuysMeds does not offer FDA-approved products like Rybelsus®, Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Zepbound®, or Mounjaro®. For these medications, please consult with a local healthcare provider.

In the U.S., only Novo Nordisk Inc. manufactures FDA-approved semaglutide products (Rybelsus®, Ozempic®, and Wegovy®), and only Eli Lilly and Company produces FDA-approved tirzepatide products (Zepbound® and Mounjaro®). These companies do not supply their medications for compounding purposes.

Weight loss results vary depending on individual factors, but many GuysMeds clients experience a loss of approximately 5% of their starting body weight. Over a 12-week period, some individuals may lose up to 10%. For a person weighing 200 pounds, this could translate to losing 10–20 pounds.

Each person’s journey is unique, and the best outcomes are typically achieved when patients commit to making meaningful changes to their diet and lifestyle alongside treatment.

Healthy weight loss is generally defined as losing 1–2 pounds per week. Rapid or extreme weight loss is not considered a medically safe or desirable goal.

In general, clients can expect to receive their medication about 8-10 business days after their information is reviewed by a provider. However, those located in California may encounter slightly longer delivery times due to extra testing requirements for compounded medications in the state.

To participate in GuysMeds programs, patients must be between 18 and 75 years old. For weight management programs specifically, eligibility is limited to individuals aged 18 to 70.
